3MEDIUM

A visually interactive experience for a summer festival, where sound, visuals, and physical objects are used to engage and move the visitor.

Electronic music, visuals, and technology act as the core pillars of the installation. The experience connects to nature, cycles, and light.

A visually
interactive
experience

Put yourself in an anthropocene experience by entering a raw man-made cube in the forest.

Feel the damp moss under your feet look up at the trees and experience natural control. A structure created with scaffolding

3 x 3 x 3 m covered in semi-transparent tarp. In the daytime the cube fills with natural light and at night the light bursts and shines on its surroundings.

Combining nature and tech

The centre of the installation, making it the base. Visitors walk up to it, and from that position, they control the visuals and audio. Raw materials and minimalism, it is an important part of the installation but it does not take away attention from the visual experience. Technical hardware is sponsored by Intech Studios.

To strengthen the architectural experience, this piece has been created together with Ask Lindstedt Nyberg, a student of architecture at KTH.

Interact
with the
installation

Inspired by and aimed in the direction of the installation’s mantra NATURE, CYCLES, LIGHT. The visuals will bring high energy and the audio will strengthen this.

In collaboration with the sound designer Martin Åberg we have creating a tailored audio for this visual experience.

To observe how nature interacts with the installation, we put up cameras to monitor it 24/7.
